No Shortage of Teachers in Menomonee Falls

Although numerous districts close from teacher absences, Menomonee Falls schools remain open.

School districts around the state have closed Thursday due to teachers calling in sick, but teachers in Menomonee Falls have remained in the classroom.

Administrative Assistant Carol Rudnick said 18 teachers were absent district wide today, which she said is not an abnormally high number. Rudnick said there were about 30 additional staff members absent for development and planned days off that were prearranged.

Approximately 380 teachers are employed throughout the Menomonee Falls School District.
