Grandmas And Grandpas Go Back to School

Students and seniors bridge the generation gap at Riverside Elementary School.

The students at Riverside Elementary School got to show off their school to their grandparents and senior friends during Intergenerational Day Thursday.

This event is held once a year for grandparents, senior neighbors, friends, and relatives to visit the school to see what their student is doing in the classroom.

They have breakfast together and spend some time in the classroom and showing off their projects hanging in the hallways.  Some of the students played math games with their grandparents, and others colored pictures.
