Falls Resident Joins School Board Monday

After falling short of joining the School Board in 2012, Michele Divelbiss was sworn in as a member after winning an uncontested election in April.

For quite some time, Michele Divelbiss has sat in the audience section of the School Board meetings, which she attended regularly.

On Monday, Divelbiss sat in the comfortable chair behind the School Board stage in her first night on the job. Divelbiss won a seat on the School Board in April after running uncontested to fill Lori Blodorn's seat. Blodorn vacated the School Board to take a position in the district's human resources department.

Divelbiss got her chance to serve on the board after falling short in the April 2012 election o Paul Tadda and David Noshay.
