The Menomonee Falls Student Assistance Program is pleased to present and evening with Officer John Gscheidmeier on “Drug Identification for Parents.” The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 5th in the HS Auditorium.
Please consider attending this important night to learn current trends, concerns and challenges facing your children, directly from the people on the front line: the police officers and detectives who work with our students every day! Officer Gscheidmeier will share information helpful to all parents, including
- What your children are seeing, hearing and talking about
- To identify drugs and drug paraphernalia
- How to tell if your child is under the influence of an illegal substance
- Drug trends
- Where parents can go for help and information
Our presenter has been a police officer for 18 years and is a certified Drug Recognition Expert. He was a school liaison officer for eight years and has served in the DARE program.
