Two Menomonee Falls High School seniors rank in the top 1 percent in Wisconsin in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Luke Troxel and Jordan Van Zummeren are among the 16,000 students earning the distinction of National Merit Semifinalists representing the top 1 percent of each state’s high school seniors.
They stand out among 1.5 million entrants from 22,000 high schools who took the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
“We are so proud of the dedication and performance of two of our academic stars,” said Principal Corey Golla. “Luke and Jordan deserve the accolades they receive.”
Semifinalists are the only ones who continue in the competition.
