Tea Party Express to Rally for Darling Saturday

The high profile organization will roll into Thiensville Saturday, with some last minute support for recalled River Hills Republican.

The Tea Party Express will roll into Wisconsin Friday, making a stop in Thiensville Saturday in support of Sen. Alberta Darling and her battle to keep her Senate seat.

The group, which has organized rallies throughout the country that feature speakers such as Sarah Palin, Joe the Plumber, Michelle Bachmann and Ann Coulter, will rally around 5:30 p.m. at Thiensville Village Hall. The rally occurs just days before Aug. 9, when Rep. Sandy Pasch (D-Whitefish Bay) challenges Darling (R-River Hills) for control of the 8th Senate District.

“Wisconsin has become ground zero in the fight between corrupt big-union bosses and the fiscally responsible conservatives, which are trying to usher in legislative policies that will fix their state’s budget,” the organization states on its website.

The Tea Party Express is the highest profile organization representing the unofficial Tea Party movement. The organization has raised millions in last-minute media blitzes that have been attributed to conservative political victories throughout the country.

The group will rally all over Wisconsin in support the six Republicans facing recalls.

"We’re headed to the state to rally and help get out the vote in support of the state senators who we feel have been unfairly targeted by the left as a means to punish Gov. (Scott) Walker," Russell, a spokesperson for the Tea Party Express, said in an earlier interview.

I can't wait. I'll be there with some folks for sure. I wish I knew about this before. We need to support Alberta for her grown-up work of balancing the budget & saving thousands of jobs. Wisconsin has created more jobs than the rest of the nation now.

Whoppie, the circus is coming to town with plenty of clowns. Oh yeah, grown up work. How then does link up with the childish Tea Party?

And here come the out-of-towners the Darling keeps saying is supporting Pasch. Seems she is talking out of both sides of her mouth again. The University of Wisconsin Survey Center's Badger Poll found that 59 percent of residents disapprove of the performance of Walker. The poll found that 55 percent of respondents were dissatisfied with the way things are going in Wisconsin. The poll found that 78 percent of respondents believe having the recall option is a good thing. Nearly two-thirds of respondents felt that state government is run for the benefit of big interests, rather than the benefit of the people.

And we all know what the Tea Party wants, don't we? Slash Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security. Break unions. Put people out of work in their drive to slash, cut, and destroy everything for the poor and working class and STILL give to the richest people....ya know, those "job creaters". LOL
