Taxpayers Association Endorses Knodl, Pridemore, and Darling

Dan Knodl, Don Pridemore, and Alberta Darling receive official endorsements from the upstart group.

  • Don Pridemore – 22nd Assembly District
  • Dan Knodl – 24th Assembly District
  • Alberta Darling – 8th Senate District

As part of its founding charter, the MFTA endorses candidates embracing and exemplifying fiscally conservative principles and policies at all levels of government.

The group found some success in spring elections, and endorsed Janel Brandtjen and Jennifer Grant for County Supervisor seats 5 and 7 respectively, and Paul Tadda for Menomonee Falls School Board.  In addition, the group endorsed Brian Schneider for the Hamilton school board, since a large part of Menomonee Falls lies in this school district.

“It’s an exciting time to be part of the conservative movement here in the Falls,” said Steve Welcenbach, who serves as the group’s president. “We are really blessed to have a great slate of fall candidates”

The group has declined to endorse a candidate for the August 14th Senate primary, however.

“Although we reserve the right to endorse a candidate prior to Aug. 14, we feel that several of the candidates running for the seat share our strong conservative values,”  Welcenbach noted.
