Rep. Sensenbrenner Issues Statement on Sen. Kohl's Retirement
Kohl to retire at the end of his term after 22 years in office.
Congressman F. James Sensenbrenner (R-Menomonee Falls) issued a statement Friday regarding Sen. Herb Kohl's (D-Wis.) announcement that he will retire after 22 years in office.
“I salute Senator Kohl for his many years of service to the people of Wisconsin. While Senator Kohl and I have disagreed on many policy issues over the years, he has always served Wisconsinites with honor and integrity. I commend him for his commitment to Wisconsin as a senator, a businessman and for his many good philanthropic works.
“I have enjoyed working with Senator Kohl and I wish him well as he looks to begin a new chapter of his life.”
