brooke, the thing to look at is the overall tax levy. Individual property taxes will fluctuate because your assessed values may rise slightly faster than your neighbors. But typically most will go up about the same percent Lets say the property values of a community uniformly go down 10%. If the tax LEVY stays the same, everyone will stay the same as the previous year. In this scenario, the mill rate will go up about 10%, which some people mistakenly see as an increase. When Governor Walker stated that property tax levies decreased across the state, it means taxpayers as a whole payed less than we did last year. In my case it was close to $100, which is a good start.

I keep my sign up to make a statement, according to the GAB I can legally do so. ( it is not an election sign ) I want to remind people who signed the recall petition how stupid they were, hopefully they will learn after it sinks in.

It's called taking back the money that the Union Money Machine, WEA Trust, took over the years for insurance over payments by the School District Taxpayers! There have been no cuts in education, only in Corrupt Union Black Mail payments!
