Final Day to Pay Taxes to Claim 2011 Deduction

In-person payments can be made at Village Hall, but to receive a receipt immediately, you'll need to head to the Waukesha County Treasurers office.

Tax bills are due by Jan. 31, but if you itemize your income tax deductions and want to claim your property tax payment on your 2011 tax return, you'll want pay your tax bill by Dec. 30.

Tax bills can be dropped in the payment box outside Village Hall, or can be paid ο»Ώonlineο»Ώ.Β 

The Waukesha County Treasurers Office, 515 W. Moreland Blvd., is the only location to make in-person payments and immediately receive a reciept. This is also the location to make payments by mail.

All payments received in Menomonee Falls will be forwarded to the treasurer's office. The Waukesha County Treasurer's office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will be closed today and Jan. 2.
