@Ima - My point was percentage which had nothing to do with a talking point. Funny how Conservatives like talking percentages vs. actualy numbers when it comes to unemployment figures - I guess that has nothing to do with talking points... W/e. I'll make a deal with you. I can make Romneys salary AND pay my percentage in taxes. I would have NO problem with that. But I guess we'll never know when the last time Mitt Romney paid income tax-considering he can't find it to release more of his tax returns.

As usual, Wilson is quick to attack others but acts indignant when his OWN words come back to haunt him. Can you say, dish it out but can't take it". This guy is an idiot who believes the unborn have NO rights, in slavery and red baiting. BTW, all his comments are recent, not several months ago ( not that matters). Guy's racist and paid troll. And we all know he's president of his own fan club, calling himself the "great John Wilson". What a joke! Don't spend time on him
Bewildered September 21, 2012 at 03:41 PM
Another Wilsonism: "An “unborn child” is totally disingenuous and an obvious attempt to bestow attributes – typical emotional argument – upon a biological organism that they do not have. Your “unborn child” is, in fact, a fetus" for all of us, let's hope this guy isn't a father,

@john Wilson, Much of whats in the movie 2016 is taken from books written by Obama, there is also an interview with his brother George. How is that propaganda? It's called getting the word out.

Greg, I think in a time of economic crisis saving as many jobs as possible (think auto and financial industry bailouts, etc.) and keeping Americans fed are important goals. It took massive government spending in the forms of federal work programs and a world war to jump start the economy after the Great Depression, that's the formula that works (contrast/compare Greece v. post-earthquake Japan). I personally "HOPE" that we get some bipartisan effort and compromise in Congress and CHANGE the mindset back away from "You People" back to "We the People." Mr. Hoffa, I mentioned GWB as an exemplar. Realizing that quite a few here apparently have short-term memory issues (forgetting about the recession, record deficit handed to Obama, etc.) I thought I'd keep it current. Alas. I do appreciate your comment about the mental health specialist, however. I realize that my exceptional multitextural cognition has been/is intimidating to some. What you are observing and reacting to is not an apparent instability on my part, but a bewilderment on yours as a result of the encounters with an intellect that is exponentially functional and capacitous. Coupled with my devastatingly linear thought processes and acerbic wit, I understand that you could be nonplussed (believe me, I've seen this before). I'm trying to keep my posts to you short and sweet, hope that helps. ; )

BREAKING - OBAMA COMMITS MURDER!!! http://in.reuters.com/article/2012/09/20/chrysler-killing-idINL1E8KK97N20120920 If Romney was responsible for the death of a steelworker's wife because Bain Capital closed the steel plant and laid off the worker thereby cutting off his health insurance benefits, even though the wife had her own health insurance benefits through her own employer, then following that same logic means that Obama, by virtue of saving the domestic auto industry, is directly responsible for the cold blooded murder of a Detroit Chrysler worker at the hands of his fellow co-worker. Where's the liberal media outrage over Obama's cold blooded murder?!?! The bias and double standards in this country are starting to make Hoffa seriously ill! ROMNEY/RYAN 2012!!!
C. Sanders September 21, 2012 at 05:07 PM
How can anyone look at the focused and decisive leadership displayed by our President over the last week in the ever-changing spin that came out of the administration on the events that resulted in the death of our Ambassador to Libya, 2 Navy Seals and a Government employee, and conclude we are in capable hands. I sure as hell don't feel safe with Obama, the Master of Deception and Sultan of Spin at the helm.

@Hoffa Your stupid "logic" is a prime example (for the world to see) of utter TeaGOP nonsense!!

@morninmist - Funny you say that, as Hoffa recalls you linking to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fLtA-VDx4A It's your logic - how can you now disagree with it? Exposing liberal hypocrisy is job #1!

Also, you're supporting a President who's campaign does believe in the premise of the ad, as heard in this Organizing for America teleconference between Joe Soptic and top Obama campaign director Stephanie Cutter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfOoZl0tHvQ So, while you may not approve, your candidate certainly does. How does that make you feel that you could be such a polar opposite to your candidate on an issue with such huge moral/ethical implications?

@morninmist- It's not worth it. Arguing with Hoffa is an endless black hole. As he sets himself up (in his own delusional mind) as the only judge of primary sources or context. A discussion with Hoffa is like a discussion with a Junior College dropout who took half a semester of phycology and marketing classes. He learned the terms and a general meaning, but dropped out before any comprehension was made - blaming the teachers for his failures. Dismiss Hoffa. Like an attention starved child, maybe he'll pop a clue if enough real adults ignore him.

Gramps. If you're such an Obama believer, let's do a quick lesson in redistribution. I'll play the part of the Administration and you play the piggy bank. After all, that's how OBAMA views the TAX PAYING AMERICAN PUBLIC. Now all you have to do is hand me your check book, never mind you have to pay your mortgage, doctor's bills and buy groceries. I'm here to tell you that you have too much. I'm going to write checks to a couple of your neighbors because I don't feel they have enough. I'm gonna pay some bills for some unfortunate illegal immigrants in Texas because we ALL need to do our part and finally, I'm going to pay for Condoms for some women in FL who isn't responsible enough to abstain from sex or find it important enough to make her own provisions for safe sex. When I give you your check book back, you'll see that I've spent more than you have but that didn't concern me because you had checks ...... so I used them. Don't be angry about this, its redistribution Gramps. Your champion, OBAMA just showed you his understanding of economics.
FreeThought Troy September 21, 2012 at 08:13 PM
@ Gramps - let's not forget that another of your neighbors has been very very fortunate indeed and hid his checkbook outside of the country and wines and cries and tries to buy elections everytime someone has the audacity to question what they contribute to the neighborhood. These are the same folks who say to your face they want small government and personal freedom, but yet want descision making abilities in your private lives... especially when it comes to your doctors office or bed room. You see, if your doctor wants to perscribe something, this neighbor wants to deny you this medicine because they think they know better then your doctor. And if you want the freedom to marry the love of your life, this neighbor wants to keep you from that because some Zombie Jewish Carpenter was, 2,000 years ago, a homophobe. You see, Gramps, these wonderful "all-knowing" neighbors have no concept of reality or what it means to be in modern, educated culture. Indeed - they deride education in any form. That's the Tea Pary - your present day Republican Party.

Regarding the PWC letter covering the Romneys’ tax filings over 20 years, from 1990 – 2009: -In each year during the entire 20-year period, the Romneys owed both state and federal income taxes. -Over the entire 20-year period, the average annual effective federal tax rate was 20.20%. -Over the entire 20-year period, the lowest annual effective federal personal tax rate was 13.66%. -Over the entire 20-year period, the Romneys gave to charity an average of 13.45% of their adjusted gross income. -Over the entire 20-year period, the total federal and state taxes owed plus the total charitable donations deducted represented 38.49% of total AGI. During the 20-year period covered by the PWC letter, Gov. and Mrs. Romney paid 100 percent of the taxes that they owed

Romney should demand an apology from Dingy Harry. He wouldn’t get it, but it would be nice to see Dingy cornered on his lies again.
