Woman Punches, Runs Over Kohl's Employees

Milwaukee woman charged after she runs down a Kohl's employee who confronted her about theft.

A Milwaukee woman is facing charges after she punched a Kohl’s Department Store employee then hit another one with her car after they caught her returning stolen merchandise to a Menomonee Falls location.

Patrice L. Turner, 25, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with one count of first-degree reckless endangerment, one count of aggrevated battery, one count of hit and run, one count of reckless driving, one count of battery and one count of retail theft. If convicted, she faces up to 22 years in prison and $67,000 in fines.

Turner was spotted stealing items from the Kohl’s store and on March 17, she came back to return the items for store credit. While leaving the store she was confronted by security, but fled after initially agreeing to come back in to talk about the returns.

The employee then tried to stop Turner, but she punched the employee in the face and ran to her car. She backed out of a parking stall, then hit another employee with the car while fleeing.

Police tracked the car back to Turner’s mother who said he daughter used the car to go shopping that day.

Turner is out of custody and an warrant has been issued for her arrest.
