Whiskey Corners Burglarized, Details Under Wraps

, the local bar sitting on the edge of Sussex and Menomonee Falls, was burglarized Friday morning.

Multiple Menomonee Falls officers were at the scene gathering evidence, but according to Lt. Chad Miller of the Menomonee Falls Police Department, its too early to release any information about the burglary.

"Yes, there was a burglary this morning," Miller said. "I can't say anything else because it's still in the early stages of the investigation. We'll probably be able to release more information sometime next week."

Police seemed to be focusing on the back door of the bar when Patch reporters drove by the scene at 10 a.m., so it's possible the thief broke in through the rear door of the building. Patch will update its readers with more information as soon as it's released.
