Even Buying Flowers Can Go Wrong

A mysterious person apparently used a woman's debit card to send her flowers.

Flowers are usually a sure-fire way to demonstrate an act of kindness for another person. However, even the gift of flowers can go terribly wrong.

On Feb. 25, a 20-year-old Menomonee Falls woman called police to report an unauthorized $42.99 purchase on her Guaranty Bank card. The purchase was flowers from FTD.com. Unfortunately, the woman denied losing her card and wasn’t sure how someone got her card.

The flowers were actually delivered to the woman’s house on Feb. 26. The woman notified the bank and closed out the account. There is no information on what she did with the flowers, or who purchased them.
