Incriminating I.D. Leads to Marijuana Citations

Two teens were cited for possession of marijuana after one provided an I.D. with some extra information on it.

An 18-year-old female was arrested by Falls police after providing an identification card with a little too much information on it.

On March 18, police stopped a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old man near Appleton Avenue and Premier Lane. The traffic stop was performed for suspended registration on the man’s vehicle.

The woman was a passenger and when she provided the officer her I.D. it appeared to have a tightly packed “vegetable material” stuck to it. Turns out, it was marijuana. When she showed police her wallet, it also contained several more chunks of marijuana.

When police patted down the male driver, he admitted to having a pill bottle of marijuana in his sweatshirt pocket – four packaged bundles of the green leafy substance.

Both were taken into custody and issued citations for possession.
