Unsavory Sandwich Leads to Butler Man's Fourth OWI Arrest

Neighbor caught a 56-year-old man dumping a sandwich into a sewer in front of his mother's house, and called police.

It’s not clear what was in this Butler man’s sandwich that was far from appetizing. However, by the end of the night, it wasn’t the sandwich leaving a bad taste in his mouth; but rather, a citation for his fourth drunken driving offense.

George C. Dorshak, 56, must not have gotten a tasty sandwich for a late night hunger pang at 1:10 a.m. Thursday. A neighbor spotted him dumping something into a sewer and getting back into his pickup truck near 127th Street and Fairmount Avenue. Turns out, he was dumping meat and a sandwich into the sewer, which was also in front of his mother’s house.

Apparently the sandwich from his mother’s house was subpar.

When police arrived they spoke with Dorshak and noticed a strong scent of intoxicants coming from his breath. Dorshak told officers he had three or four drinks at his mother’s house that night. He failed sobriety tests and had a blood-alcohol level of 0.095.

After searching Dorshak’s truck officers found a nearly full can of Miller High Life in a Koozy behind the passenger seat.

Dorshak was previously convicted of OWI in 1992, 1996 and 2002. He’s currently being held in Waukesha County Jail on $1,000 cash bail.

Dorshak was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of fourth offense OWI. If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison and $2,000 in fines.
