Thefts and a Good Samaritan

Police blotter doesn't contain much crime

In some communities, the police blotter for the past few days would yield pages upon pages of incidents. In Menomonee Falls, the binder at the Police Department from over the weekend through Monday yielded a theft of Mary Kay cosmetics and other assorted shenanigans.

Two people went in the Pick N’ Save at N95W18273 County Line Road and walked back out with baby formula in a plastic bag.

The only violent crime reported during the time period was an aggravated assault. A man called police to say he was the victim of domestic violence, but when police investigated, they discovered the man had allegedly choked his girlfriend, causing her son to draw a knife on him. The man had then allegedly pushed the juvenile into a dresser. The incident occurred in an apartment along Fond du Lac Avenue.

The passenger window of a Chevrolet Trail Blazer was broken at Arandell Corp., N82W13118, and a purse with credit cards was removed.

A West Allis woman was arrested after turning herself on a warrant for contempt of court involving a case of a dog that was running at large.
