State Supreme Court Rules On Menomonee Falls Couple's Surrogate Case

A Menomonee Falls couple’s surrogate parenting contract can be enforced, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled last week. However, the birth mother retains some rights.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that David and Marcia Rosecky had contract with a friend to carry a baby for them. The woman, Monica Schissel of Columbus, signed the deal but then changed her mind. David Rosecky sued and the case ended up in the state Supreme Court.
