Recipe For Arrest: Passed Out With the Vehicle Running

Recent reports from the Menomonee Falls Police Department.

Police found a woman passed out inside her running vehicle at 4:51 a.m. Nov. 4. on the W15000 block of Main Street. The woman was awoken and displayed signs of impairment, and resisted officers as they attempted to take her into custody. Officers found a knife and razor blades concealed in the glove compartment. She was arrested and booked for resisting an officer and a first-offense OWI.

The woman called police after her 39-year-old boyfriend from Brown Deer gave her a threatening call. The man was just released from prison and allegedly threatened to harm the woman if she refused to be with him. He specifically threatened to come to the woman’s place of work.

The man was located at a halfway house in Milwaukee with his parole and probation officer. He was then taken into custody.

  • A 39-year-old woman told police she was having a difficult time with her 21-year-old male co-worker. Apparently, the man confronted the woman about a derogatory email he accused her of sending. The woman said she did not send the email, and supervisors were involved in the meeting between the two. The woman fears retribution from the man’s girlfriend, and believes the man’s girlfriend will attempt to harm her or her family.
  • At 12:09 a.m. Nov. 5, a 24-year-old woman arrested near Town Line Road and County Line Road and cited for failure to install an ignition interlock device on her vehicle.
  • Police found a woman passed out inside her running vehicle at 4:51 a.m. Nov. 4. on the W15000 block of Main Street.   • A 39-year-old man filed a complaint in with the police department regarding what he felt was a false report filed by his ex-girlfriend in October. The man claims she filed the report because she lost some custody rights regarding their daughter.
  • A Maaco car repair shop in Menomonee Falls is seeking fraud charges against Protech after consulting police Nov. 6. Maaco completed $2,600 worth of repairs to a Protech box truck, but Protech placed a stop payment on the check for work completed. Protech has refused payment.
