Rash of Burglaries Reported in Surrounding Communities
Homeowners in several communities are being targeted by a rash of recent burglaries.
The Menomonee Falls Police Department one of several law enforcement agencies addressing a string of home burglaries recently.
On Friday, Falls police issued a notice that homes had been burglarized while the residents were home. Suspects simply walked in through unlocked patio doors. Police issued a warning reminding residents to keep their homes locked and secured.
Similar incidents have occurred in Sussex, Brookfield, Glendale, Bayside and Mequon, WISN reports. Residents in Brookfield are growing concerned and on high alert after two burglaries occurred in the Forest Walk condominiums. WISN has more on what homeowner's are experiencing in their city.
It's unclear if the incidents are all related, but the departments are all working together to identify the perpetrators.
