Police Investigate Attempted Child Enticement in Germantown
A man allegedly approached a 9-year-old girl and asked her to touch his genitals.
Police north of the Menomonee Falls border are attempting to locate a suspect who allegedly tried to sexually assault a 9-year-old girl.
The girl told Germantown police Sunday that a man approached her and asked if she wanted to touch his genitals. The incident occurred at roughly 4:30 p.m. Sunday near Revere Lane and Nigbor Drive. As the man left the area, the girl could hear him say, "Just kidding," according to police.
The girl left the area safely and without further incident, but she did provide a description of the man.
He is a white male with a light tan and approximately 5-feet, 7-inches tall. He was described as "rounder" but not obese. He had short brown hair, which was combed over in the front and had a goatee and sideburns. He looked to be roughly 40 years old.
The man was wearing a short sleeve shirt, lighter colored orange and yellow shorts, and was walking a medium sized white dog. He was also wearing a small backpack that contained a visible bottle of red Gatorade.
