Police Searching For Man Linked to Falls Armed Robbery and 14 Others in Area

Suspect targeted Citgo Aug. 27, and is linked to armed robberies in Waukesha, Wauwatosa, Greenfield and Oak Creek.

The Milwaukee Police Department is searching for a man believed to be the culprit in 15 armed robberies throughout southeastern Wisconsin, including Menomonee Falls.

The suspect is described as a 20- to 25-year-old white male, roughly 140 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. The man was most recently linked to an .

The robberies typically occur between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., and all locations have been close to freeway access. The man is known to be in possession of a semi-automatic handgun and a silver revolver. He fired a shot at one of his offenses in Milwaukee.

The man’s getaway vehicle is described as a 1990 burgundy Chevrolet Caprice, or a dark-colored, mid-size SUV or pickup with a cap.

At 10:34 p.m. Aug. 27, the suspect robbed the gas station on Main Street. The man was brandishing a silver revolver and demanded all the money in the register. The Menomonee Falls K-9 unit found an abandoned sweatshirt and mask during their investigation of the crime.

A Waukesha woman was just closing up shop a few minutes before 9 p.m. Monday at Tobacco Outlet Plus, 11712 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa, when a  walked in, pointed a gun at her and said, “Give me all the money.”

She told police she went to the register and handed over the cash, and the suspect left quickly on foot through the parking lot and out of sight. She locked the doors and called police.
