Police Search Menomonee Falls Landfill for Body of a Milwaukee Man

The search for the body of a young rapper started on Monday morning. Officials believe the body was placed in a Dumpster.

Milwaukee police are searching the Menomonee Falls landfill for the body of a 22-year-old man who was beaten and killed nearly four weeks ago, reported Fox6Now.

At a press conference Monday morning police said they believe the body of Evon Young, a rapper, was placed in a Dumpster near 49th and Hampton early in January. 

The search began around 9:30 a.m.

Officials believe the body of Young is somewhere in the 200 square foot area based on records provided by Waste Management. Crews will have to go through debris of between 14 and 15 feet deep.

Five men are accused of murdering the young rapper.

Fox6Now reports that according to the criminal complaint, the five defendants were at Young’s home when his roommate accused Young of stealing. Police say the men put a bag over his head, beat him with tools and took turns strangling him before shooting him three times.
