Milwaukee Police are ending the search of a Menomonee Falls landfill for the body of a Milwaukee man who was killed in early January, reported Patch media partners WISN 12.
Officials began the search in Jan. 28. Police believed the body of Evon Young, a rapper, was placed in a Dumpster near 49th and Hampton early in January.
It was believed the body of Young was somewhere in the 200 square foot area based on records provided by Waste Management.
Detectives, landfill workers, a local excavating company and dog handlers conducted the search but remains were not found.
Five men are accused of murdering the young rapper.
WISN reports that police said the men put a bag over Young's head, beat him and shot him because of a vendetta.
