'Peeping Tom' Accountant Enters Guilty Plea

A Menomonee Falls resident, who worked at a Glendale accounting firm, pleaded guilty to filming female coworkers using the bathroom at Bristol & Company, S.C.

James Franc Pirc, 46, pleaded guilty to two felony charges of capturing and image of nudity without consent. Pirc had been charged with four counts of the same crime, but two counts were dismissed as part of plea negotiations. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Feb. 13.  

According to the criminal complaint:

On Sept. 14, 2012 a woman working in an old house converted into an office building located at 7040 N. Green Bay Road, went to the bathroom in a second floor restroom and while there, noticed a pen slide under the corner of the door. It also became quiet outside the door, which the woman also found usual because there are always sounds of people outside.

The woman suspected the pen had been a camera, so she looked on the Internet and found a similar one for sale. She then contacted Glendale police to report the incident.

On Sept. 21, another woman who worked in the building, was using the bathroom and saw the pen slide under the door. She then reported the incident and officers checked hidden cameras they set up outside the bathroom showing Pirc, stop and slide something under the door momentarily.

Pirc was listed as vice-president of Bristol & Company, S.C. on his LinkedIn account, which is located within the same building. His name doesn't appear on the company's website, however.

Officers executed a search warrant on Pirc’s home in the W14200 block of Menomonee Avenue and took the pen, which had four videos of the women using the bathroom. Pirc said he used the pen 15 or 16 times for “inappropriate things,” but deleted all but five to six videos of women using the bathroom. Pirc said he had been taping women using the bathroom for about nine months with the pen, saying it filmed in color “depending on which way they stood, but it would show their butt and front private area.”
