Family of Menomonee Falls Missing Woman Hold on to Hope After 25 Years

The family is asking the person responsible to step forward and let them know of her remains.

The family of a Menomonee Falls woman who disappeared more than 25 years ago is holding on to hope that one day they will find her, even if it's her remains, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article.

The family of Sandra Bertolas bought a plot for her next to her father who died in 2010 of cancer at Saint Anthony’s Cemetery.

Bertolas, who was studying marketing at Waukesha County Technical College and working part-time at Cost Cutters, disappeared in 1988 after she went to confront her boyfriend after she learned he had another girlfriend and lied about his last name, according to Menomonee Falls Police records. Her car was found in a West Allis alley without a trace of her.
