Marijuana Found in Shoe During Falls Traffic Stop

Milwaukee man has drugs in his shoe while riding in a car full of stolen scrap metal.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges after Menomonee Falls police officers found marijuana in his car during a traffic stop.

Emmett Weathersby Jr. was charged in Wednesday with one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to six months in prison and $1,000 in fines.

On May 9, Weathersby was in a car pulled over by a Menomonee Falls police officer on Pilgrim Road near Oak Parkway for not having a front license plate. During the traffic stop officers discovered there was scrap metal in the car stolen from the Port Washington area and the occupants were asked to get out of the vehicle.

Officers then discovered a 3.1 gram baggie of marijuana inside Weathersby’s shoe.

He will make his initial appearance in court July 9.
