Psychedelic Road Trip Turns Bum Trip for Falls Teen

Four wheels and acid led to the arrest of a Menomonee Falls teen last week.

It’s one thing to take a road trip, but it’s quite another to trip on the road.

An 18-year-old Menomonee Falls man was pulled over at 12:35 a.m. last week near Ash Drive and Mill Road for parking on the roadway. When police spoke with him, he was displaying some odd behavior, and admitted to police he had taken acid. The man was detained by police due to his behavior, and was checked out by EMTs with the fire department.

After he was cleared, he took and failed a field sobriety test. Later, a drug recognition expert was called to the site of the arrest from Brookfield, and he was transported to the hospital for a blood draw and an evaluation.
