Psychedelic Road Trip Turns Bum Trip for Falls Teen

Four wheels and acid led to the arrest of a Menomonee Falls teen last week.

It’s one thing to take a road trip, but it’s quite another to trip on the road.

An 18-year-old Menomonee Falls man was pulled over at 12:35 a.m. last week near Ash Drive and Mill Road for parking on the roadway. When police spoke with him, he was displaying some odd behavior, and admitted to police he had taken acid. The man was detained by police due to his behavior, and was checked out by EMTs with the fire department.

After he was cleared, he took and failed a field sobriety test. Later, a drug recognition expert was called to the site of the arrest from Brookfield, and he was transported to the hospital for a blood draw and an evaluation.

The man’s vehicle was turned over to his mother, and he was later released.

We're the walls bleeding?

Loser kid. Does he have a sister also to defend his drug use?
Di Atribe March 28, 2013 at 02:52 PM
Is this where we get posters informing us of this idiot's rights, and encourage him to deny the police investigation after probable cause was established? And who even tries acid anymore? Talk about a lame throwback with well-established hazards.

What about the well established Hazards of Alcohol, doesn't seem to stop many . . .
Di Atribe March 28, 2013 at 07:15 PM
Alcohol in its many glorious and varied forms tastes good. Lack of self-control and the inability to moderate is not alcohol's problem, it's the alcohol drinker's responsibility. LSD doesn't have a taste if made properly. Go teetotal somewhere else, Flanders.

"Lack of self-control and the inability to moderate is not alcohol's problem" Although it is true, it is not "alcohol's" problem; alcohol does enact the process through it's mind altering and addictive qualities.

Good God must we endure these same idiotic comments (from the same people) with each story printed in the Patch? Clearly your own families can't stand your bully tactics or you'd be spending more time interacting with them rather than living on your computers harassing anyone who comments in a way not to your liking.
Carl Engelking March 28, 2013 at 11:01 PM
Well I'd like to start a gentlemen's campaign to have every comment with their real names. I can't post a single thing without my name behind it.
Nuitari (Grand Master Editor) March 28, 2013 at 11:22 PM
(1) Some things are best left ignored. Why even read the comments? (2) If Patch had more people reading it maybe it would have a more diverse commentary. (3) Everyone knows I'm a prick and have accepted it. Go to some other Patches and you'll find I'm pretty mellow.

Never going to happen. We've beat this damn horse.

You work here ;)

They don't jump out of windows because they expect to fly, they do it because they have no idea what they are doing when they're drunk like a skunk. Sometimes they just drive their car into someone elses head on, or they beat their children, wife or unknown people in bars; never knew anyone on acid that did any of those things.

Can't we ban Nuitari based off his profanity-laced picture? I was waiting to see how long it took someone to blow it up and actually read it, but I cannot sit quietly anymore.
Di Atribe March 29, 2013 at 02:21 PM
Daniel S.--Are you an AA refugee evangelizing or something? Alcohol is the substance of choice for many to cause trouble, yes, but at what point does personal responsibility become a concept to which you adhere? Tens-of-millions of people have never had issues with alcohol. Wine has been around for 8,000 years, and beer for 5,500. Alcohol isn't going anywhere.
Nuitari (Grand Master Editor) March 29, 2013 at 03:15 PM
Di Atribe, That has been brought to my attention before by Carl, and both I could not change it, nor could he gain whatever access to do it for me. So I guess you should read it again and take the advice.

Patch's crack team of IT Obama voters put in place that you can not change your profile pictures. You can only keep adding to them, but you can not delete any. They own you foooooooreeeeeeveeeer

What a couple of nut cases. These threads aren't supposed to be insane ramblings like 4chan. I could tell you jokes that would make you vomit, so no, I'm not a baby. But I do know how to be an adult with a sense of how to behave properly.
Daniel S. March 29, 2013 at 08:49 PM
No refugee of any type, just sharing knowledge with those of less. Reading some of the comments reminds of the Reefer Madness era . . . . so sad it ended up the way it did.
johnnycoyo March 31, 2013 at 01:48 AM
Ha ...what a joke ! LSD -25 is a wonderful tool in the process of self-discovery ...alcohol KILLS thousands EVERY day. btw the hazards were in the form of police. Ignorance sadly remains epidemic ! :(
