Man Told Wife He'd Cut Off Her Head, Eat It, Police Say

Police said a Greenfield man denied threatening to eat his wife's head during an argument, but did say he would cut it off and toss it out the window.

A 60-year-old Greenfield man is accused of telling his wife he was going to cut her head off and eat it while they were having a heated argument in their home.

The man was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of disorderly conduct-domestic abuse. If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

At 4:42 a.m. Nov. 1, Greenfield police officers were called to a home in the 3900 block of South Prairie Hill Lane after the man's wife contacted a caseworker who called police.

When officers arrived, the man’s wife told police she had been fighting with her husband when he said he was going to cut off her head and eat it. The man denied making the threat, then the woman said the threat was made three weeks earlier.

The man told officers he didn't threaten his wife during the Nov. 1 argument, but did say he told his wife twice that he was going to cut off her head and throw it out the window in an effort to lighten the mood.

According to the complaint, the man suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and schizophrenia. The man will make his initial appearance in court Dec. 26.

So I sure hope there was more to this than what was stated for a court to issue a disorderly conduct-domestic abuse charge. Cause if there isn't - "we is in big trouble". Please refrain from telling someone you are going to "bite their head off", or perhaps "chew someones ear off", or "will it cost me an arm and a leg?". LOL/LOL
