Man Seeking Mother-Daughter Pornography Ad Flagged By Police

A 44-year-old Sheboygan Falls man is accused of meeting with an undercover police officer at a Menomonee Falls hotel where he was expecting to have sex with a mom and a 14-year-old girl, according to a criminal complaint.

Gustave K. Benson was charged with attempted second degree sexual assault of a child in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Aug. 22. He faces up to 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines if convicted.

A Menomonee Falls detective was monitoring Craigslist ads in February when the detective found an ad from Benson stating he was looking for a mom and stepdaughter to have “a little fun with some pornography and see where it goes from there,” according to the complaint.

The detective posed as a mom with a 14-year-old daughter. When Benson expressed interest, the detective said the mother wanted her daughter’s first experience to be with an older man. Benson told the detective he wanted to have sex with the girl, according to the complaint.

In April, Benson told who he thought was the mother that he had sex with a  16-year-old girl and a mother the previous night, the complaint states.

Benson and the detective finally agreed to meet a hotel bar in Menomonee Falls on July 27. Another officer posed as the mother at the bar and when Benson approached her, he told her he had condoms, according to the complaint.

As Benson followed the officer out of the bar, he was taken into custody. He admitted to meeting to the woman at the hotel because he wanted to have sex with a 14-yearold and her mother, according to the complaint.

Benson also told officer he was lying when he said he had sex with a 16-year-old and that he’s never had sex with anyone under age 18, the complaint states.
