Suspect sold to informant on three different occasions outside of Falls businesses.

A 20-year-old West Allis man is facing charges after he was caught selling marijuana to a police informant.

Julian J. Sartler was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with three counts of manufacture and delivery of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, and three counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place. If convicted, he faces up to 14 years in prison and $40,000 in fines.

On Aug. 22, Sartler agreed to sell a half ounce of high grade marijuana to a police informant in the parking lot of a business in the W15400 block of Sliver Spring Drive. The informant conducted the deal with a man parked inside the car, with Sartler sitting in the back seat.

On Oct. 14, the informant made arrangements to purchase $180 from Sartler and another man in the parking lot of a business near West Capitol Drive and Pilgrim Road. The deal took place while the man with Sartler went inside the business.

The informant again set up a deal with Sartler on Dec. 7, which was also completed in the parking lot of a Falls business.

On Jan. 20, police interviewed Sartler who admitted to selling the drugs with a friend, saying he’s expecting a child and needed to supplement his income because he has a low paying job.
