Man Arrested in Connection to Multiple Thefts from Vehicles

The man admitted to taking loose change from vehicles in five other cases under investigation by the police department.

Menomonee Falls police have arrested a 42-year-old Newburg man in connection to multiple thefts from vehicles in the village. 

At 3:44 a.m. Saturday, police investigated a complaint regarding a suspicious person. During their investigation, the person who called had $5 in loose change stolen from their vehicle that was parked in the driveway of their home on Carol Drive. 

Police located the suspect and arrested him near Vera Lane and Van Buren Drive for prowling. The man admitted to stealing the change from the victim's vehicle. He also admitted to four other thefts from vehicles the MFPD was investigating. The suspect's vehicle was towed from the nearby scene. 

The man was transported to the police station at 5:30 a.m., and faces five state theft charges, one probation warrant, and one municipal prowling charge.
