Target reported four separate thefts of trading cards during a 10-day period in June and July, all by a person known to the store personnel.
According to a police report:
In each case, the man came in with shopping bags, filled them with cards and pushed carts carrying the bags to the Misses/Jewelry section. There, he dumped the carts and walked out.
Details on the thefts are:
June 23, $438 of trading cards
June 24, $351 of trading cards
June 30, unknown amount of cards
July 2, unknown amount of cards
The same person was identified as the suspect in the theft of about 40 packs of gaming cards at Walmart Neighborhood Market on July 14.
