Get Behind The Badge With Menomonee Falls Police
The Citizen Police Academy offers plenty of hands-on experiences to get to know your officers and the job they do.
Do you ever wonder what happens behind the scenes at the Menomonee Falls Police Department? Your Patch editor did, and attending the Citizen Police Academy was a unique and engaging journey.
The MFPD is taking applications for its fifth session of the academy, and there's not a lot of time left to get it in. Fire a gun, learn about the stun gun, clock speeders and drive in a traffic simulator. Classes will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, and each class lasts roughly 2 to 3 hours.
