Germantown Man Charged in Falls Hit And Run Accident

Suspect hit a car near Main Street and Highway 145 in August and then fled the scene.

A 23-year-old Germantown man is facing charges after he was allegedly involved in an August hit and run accident in Menomonee Falls.

According to the criminal complaint, Thomas E. Hart hit a car near Main Street and Highway 145 at noon Aug. 30 and then took off toward Germantown. Officers followed Hart’s car until they were able to eventually pull him over.

Hart was taken to by police, but was uncooperative.

He was charged Monday with one count of hit and run, and faces up to six months in prison and $1,000 in fines if convicted.
