Firefighters Extinguish Small Fire on Leon Road

Fire crews blocked Leon Road Friday at noon to put out a small fire that reportedly began in a dust collector.

The Menomonee Falls Fire Department responded snuffed out a small fire that started around noon on Leon Road.

Early reports indicate the fire started in a dust collector at Scan-Pac Manufacturing at N84W13510 Leon Rd. Flames or smoke were not visible from the scene when first responders arrived around noon. The fire was contained at roughly 12:30 p.m. All crews cleared the scene by 1:10 p.m.

Crews entered the back of the premises to access the fire.

Emergency crews blocked Leon Road as they worked to put out the blaze. It didn’t appear there were any injuries; however, Patch has contacted MFFD Chief Jeffrey Hevey for an update as it come available.
