Fire Department Hosting a Series of Open Houses

Each open house will feature a variety of educational and fun activities for the family.

The Menomonee Falls Fire Department is offering the community a glimpse behind the scenes of their operations in the village. 

Throughout September and into October, the MFFD will host open houses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every week at one of the four fire stations in the village. The events will offer an opportunity to meet your local firefighters, and view a variety of demonstrations to entertain the family. 

Here's a look at the upcoming open houses: 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 14
Station #3, W140N7501 Lilly Rd. 
Fire demonstrations and business fire extinguisher checks 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 21
Station #2, N56W14971 Silver Spring Dr. 
Fire demonstrations and an obstacle course 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 28
Station #4, W134N8777 Executive Pkwy
Fire demonstrations and extrication 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct. 5
Station #1, N88W16631 Appleton Ave. 
The last open house at this station, which will be closing next year
