On Dec. 26, a Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputy pulled Wallace over after he saw him driving more than 70 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour speed zone on I-94 near South 84th Street. When the officer him he was speeding Wallace said “sorry,” but the deputy could smell alcohol on his breath.
Wallace failed field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol level of 0.22, which is nearly three times the legal limit to drive in Wisconsin. He was previously convicted of drunk driving in 2007 and 2010.
