On July 26, Milwaukee police officers were called to Walgreens, 8488 W. Brown Deer Road, after a manager had just spoken to Teriaca who told him he stole several Oxycodone pills. The manager said Teriaca was acting odd that day, so he asked if he was sick or on drugs.

Teriaca told him he took several Oxycodone pills from the store several days before for his sick mother.
