Drugs Land Two Falls Residents in Jail
Police found syringes, "cooking caps," and other drugs in their possession while in Wauwatosa.
A Menomonee Falls man and woman were arrested Saturday after making a U-turn in front of the wrong person. However, it was the cargo they had on board that landed them in the most trouble.
According to the report from the Wauwatosa Police Department:
At 3:09 p.m. Saturday, three subjects – a 25-year-old West Allis man and a 25-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man from Menomonee Falls – were arrested on a host of drug-related counts after a traffic stop in the 11200 block of West Burleigh Street in Wauwatosa.

The driver had made a sudden, high-speed U-turn in the middle of North Mayfair Road, cutting off a police community service officer in her van. The two men were jittery and glassy-eyed, officers said, and exhibited other signs typical of intravenous drug use.
The Menomonee Falls man had a syringe in his shirt pocket, and another recently used syringe was found under a seat. A variety of prescription narcotics and other pills was found, along with “cooking caps” and other paraphernalia. All three later admitted in statements that they were heroin addicts.
