Driver Caught With 3-inch Blunt

The 24-year-old man was caught with marijuana, but also his third offense for driving without a license.

A 24-year-old Walmart Neighborhood Market employee was arrested for possession of marijuana Monday.

Police stopped the man at 2:16 a.m. near Pilgrim Road and Appleton Avenue because his vehicle’s registration was suspended. The officer detected the smell of burnt marijuana, and the driver voluntarily retrieved a 3-1/2-inch blunt from the ashtray.

The man was arrested for possession of marijuana, third offense operating without a license, suspended registration, and no insurance. His passenger was identified, and had two outstanding warrants with the Brown Deer Police Department.
