Developing Story: Police Pursue Burglary Suspects into Milwaukee

The Menomonee Falls Police Department is currently attempting to locate suspects thought to be involved in an attempted burglary in the area.

The Menomonee Falls Police Department is currently pursuing individuals thought to be suspects in a recent burglary attempt.

MFPD Capt. Mark Waters said an officer identified a suspect vehicle that matched a description of one used in a recent attempted burglary attempt in Menomonee Falls. The driver fled in the vehicle, and officers pursued the driver into the northwest side of Milwaukee near 76th Street and Villard Avenue.

Waters said the individuals in the vehicle then fled on footing. Waters did not say where the attempted burglary occured, or where the pursuit began.

Menomonee Falls Patch spoke with Waters again at roughly 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. He said officers were unable to catch the suspects; however, they recovered the suspects' vehicle. Waters said the incident remains under investigation.
