Art Guild's Gallery Grand Opening

Thursday March 15 was the Grand opening of the Art Gallery of the Guild in downtown Menomonee Falls.

It was an electric evening! The gallery was filled with people by 6:30 p.m. and
stayed that way till 8:30 p.m. when the crowd began to thin out.

We estimate a turnout of about 250 people for the entire evening, and a constant flow of visitors were coming through. With little more than 3 weeks to prepare for this event, the artists pooled their efforts and worked tirelessly to get this done. Many of those attending said they were blown away by everything from the location, the presentation and the incredible quality and quantity of locally created art.

It was also exciting to see the enthusiasm in the faces of our guests as they
engaged with the artists. Not only were sales being made, there were commission
possibilities talked about and artistic networking opportunities. The gallery has an array of art to appease to just about anyone's taste and there are original works available with affordable prices.

Art is what brings personality to people's homes and now there are even
more choices available to buy locally made art. The Village Centre already had three artistic venues but opening another gallery just brings so much more
opportunity to Main Street for some fun filled cooperative events. Beyond the 24
artists exhibiting, the Guild itself has over 60 members and the neighboring
galleries represent an even bigger range of art styles and offerings.
