Chem works moves to Menomonee falls!

IMPORTANT news on the relocation of Chem Works to Menomonee falls.  Location near Lilly&Mill. This is a very SMELLY and disgusting sewage filtering plant. Petitions from the residents on the south side finally worked and they got rid of the stench. Please go to the town meeting at the falls library on Jan 30, 6:30pm.  We need to let the idiots in charge that we don't want this in our community!

Just seems a bit strange that weiers sells out a couple months before this story broke. The expensive lots in Harmony Hills that butt up to property sat vacant for years but all of a sudden the developer starts to build on them months ago and sell them off as home and lot packages....Is that to get rid of them before the lot goes from 150000 to 50000???? Just wonder if people new about this way back and something could of been done before Chemworks bought the plant and property. Yes Kelley, He sold everything from what he told a friend of mine.

Once again the surviving idiots of the 2012 election will allow something against the will of the people. I hear Mikey McD is on the comeback trail also. Vote and keep rinos out.
Kelley January 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM
Omg! I can't believe he sold the whole farm!!! Everyone must go to this meeting tomorrow and fill that room up. Ok, just wondering what a rhino is dem or rep. Please explain
W . Benz January 19, 2014 at 12:07 PM
Kelley was is a Rhino ? Boy is King Fitz and the boys going to roll on you people .... Watch the local Cabal crush the uprising . Gee why is there not going to be a primary election for trustee , but you'll need to vote for other elections . Oh ya the King Fitz says he's saving you 30 k --- Done @ a special meeting with notice posted !! . ------. = Saving private Otis. .. :-(

I literally had a bowel movement (as I was reading MF News while sitting on the toilet since Patch doesn't report local news or news what-so-ever any more) when I came across Michael McDonald wanting sloppy seconds at a trustee seat again. Maybe he learned his lesson.
Cody Walker January 19, 2014 at 01:14 PM
Probably not. These leaches like the McDonalds never learn.
Kelley January 19, 2014 at 05:05 PM
I'm laughing thinking of everyone meeting each other after all the bickering and name calling. The only thing about this that makes me laugh. Sad
Kelley January 19, 2014 at 06:08 PM
Will the tax payers be billed for disposal?
Cody Walker January 19, 2014 at 06:15 PM
Can't we sell them the Radisson to use for this disposal and processing? It's a win win and already is a toxic waste dump of tax payer money.
W . Benz January 19, 2014 at 07:28 PM
Kelly you or some of your Pals should run for trustee as a write in candidate . The Cabal is running two , Otis and PJ boy to break up the vote , winner by 1 vote wins with NO primary . Kelly make a FOIA request on the KING FITZ concerning the NO primary , so who voted [ Trustee ] for the Special Meeting ,and how each trustee voted ... Give your elected trustee a call and ask them.
Kelley January 19, 2014 at 07:33 PM
I want Mark Belling to rip our trustees a new one like he did over the hotel fiasco
Kelley January 20, 2014 at 08:05 AM
Meeting at village hall 6:30 tonight. Be there early
Kelley January 20, 2014 at 10:30 AM
Just talked to village hall and was told we can speak if we sign up early. Let's remind our trustees who is in charge here.
W . Benz January 20, 2014 at 11:16 PM
Otis the ever slick politician speaking tonight . Gee it's about time to dump that sweater, he's had for like 10 yrs. Don't forget the election coming this spring !!! Hey TNT I'm over here ...
Kelley January 21, 2014 at 07:57 AM
If Otis was the first speaker, I thought he did a great job. Who is Otis you are talking about?
Kelley January 21, 2014 at 11:51 AM
We must round up more residents to go. I plan on going to all the neighbor houses I can this weekend. Big task!

So nice of them not to show up last night for the meeting.
Kelley January 21, 2014 at 05:23 PM
Love that comment pale rider !!!! Spot on. Who the hell is gonna build a half million dollar house on that farm land?! Such a joke
Cody Walker January 21, 2014 at 05:51 PM
Don't really know why you would have in the first place if you didn't want to be next to an industrial area. Looks like they purchased the concrete plant, which was there long before the new neighborhoods. I'mma build a house next to an airport then bitch about the noise.
DT98 January 22, 2014 at 06:20 PM
Cody I'm curious where you are coming from. If you are here to just play devil’s advocate or if you truly have no idea what's going on. There is nothing about this that makes sense for a community like Menomonee Falls. This is a business that needs to be outside of city/village limits. Besides the houses and land around, it's a health issue for our kids, for ourselves. What the board did was wrong, they tried to slide this into effect w/o our knowledge. The ONLY reason we are aware of this is because JS did a story and the "housewives" as you called them saw it and ran with it. Thank goodness they did. I'm shocked that anyone would sit here and say this is a good idea or that our elected officials are doing a good job in regards to this.
DT98 January 22, 2014 at 06:31 PM
I'm glad it's an election year. Does that answer your question?? My point is Cody sits here and balks at people's concerns regarding this situation. That's my issue. This is a valid concern with the residents of the falls. This company has history of not following regulations put in place.
DT98 January 22, 2014 at 06:41 PM
Even I I did, which I don't, this situation would eliminate anything good they have done in the past.
Steven January 22, 2014 at 07:25 PM
I'm with Cody. I guaranty this area has been zoned industrial long before that subdivision was built. Taxpayor-You can't claim ignorance because you didn't drive around the neighborhood before you purchased/built your home. You didn't look out your back window while looking at the home before buying? You didn't drive down Lilly Rd to get to your subdivision? And when that location was a concrete block factory-I bet there was a lot of dust in the air along with noise and probably smells also. You should however be mad at the planning commission for putting residential zoning directly against heavy industrial. And your claims that the Chemworks should have reached out to the community before buying the property-how the hell does that make sense?! It appears they did everything they are legally obligated to do. DT98-how would you put a business like this outside of city limits? They have clearly stated they picked this location because of the sewer system-there aren't sewers out in the sticks! And I still don't understand your comments-if the water goes down the sewer-how does it affect your health? MMSD cleans the water again to make it drinkable before it goes to your home. And you ask why no one from Chemworks has bought a home in the area yet-well because they don't want to live by a bunch of ass-hats probably-or maybe because they haven't even moved in to the facility yet! Whats next-complain about the railroad tracks? There are tons of other heavy industrial companies within that small area, even chemical and waste plants-who is next on the list? Besides-the village cant afford to buy the property +improvements back from them. And even if the village did-all of you would sit and complain about your taxes going up. I hope to see some of you 'smart' people run in the next election, you seem to have all the answers.
DT98 January 22, 2014 at 07:39 PM
It's obvious that either, 1. Steven works with/for Chem OR has a friend on the board. I agree that you can't use ignorance as an excuse, however stating that there is no sewer out in the outskirts is a pretty dumb comment. AGAIN, regardless of the homes and property, it's not a business that should be in the falls. Right down the rd is a day care. How does it effect people if it's treating water?? What do the drop two drops of charcoal in and it's clean???? No it gives off air pollution when going through the process. Nice try.
DT98 January 22, 2014 at 07:43 PM
Asp Steven it has nothing to do with having the answers it has to do with doing what's right for the village and NOT doing it behind everyone's back. They are ELECTED officials, should be working on behalf of use
Caliente January 23, 2014 at 08:29 AM
It scares me that the village president's brother is running for trustee. Can you imagine 2 Newmans on the board. I don't think so.
Tim Delores January 23, 2014 at 12:24 PM
Is Steven the Steven Walcenbach from the meno falls tax payer assoc. Did mFTPA endore or recruit this company to come to the Falls. Trustees Lemmer and Walz, MFTPA is your group, what is your thinking on this. I think this business is what walcenbach does for a living. Maybe he works at Chemworks
W . Benz January 23, 2014 at 02:15 PM
