A Night with Dominique Wilkins

American Diabetes Association and Columbia St. Mary’s will be hosting an educational event in Milwaukee welcoming former NBA’s All-Star Dominique Wilkins. Wilkin’s has set numerous records within his 12 years of playing in the NBA . During his career Wilkin’s has made many accomplishes. He’s played on nine NBA All-Star teams, won two Slam Dunk contests, and set a Hawks all-time personal scoring record.  Wilkin’s is successfully living with Type 2 diabetes and would like to present his life story to the community.  His mission is to educate and create awareness to people who are affected by this disease. This event will take place on Wednesday, October 9th at 5:30pm at the Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee Main Hospital Atrium. Beverages and alight appetizers will be served.
