We had to live with the stink from the dump for years before they corrected it, don't give us another stink to breath, keep Chem Works out of the falls.

Don't build your house next to an industrial area. Chem Works says the new facility will not stink and right now you have to take their word. You have no proof it will stink, the land has already been purchased and the permits issued.

I am sure they proved it then. Sounds like the few instances in the past were related to the way dumb Milwaukee has set up their combined sewer system. They have the opportunity here to start from the ground up and set things up correctly with new technology and practices.

Cody... Why are you fighting so hard to let them stay??? It's a business that we dont need in the falls and it adds no benefit to our village. I feel you have a vested (cash) interest in them being successful here and that is sad!!

Again DT all you have is emotion non factual "arguments". I have no interest in the company other than they are moving in less than a mile from my office/warehouse. After looking at the facts of this business move I see no reason why they should not be allowed to keep and build on the land they ALREADY have purchased and obtained permits for. We need good business in the Falls, especially one this large. They haven't received any money from the King that I can see, it is 100% private money for a needed service. You may not have any idea what they do but anyone from manufacturing to a car wash uses these services, and must by environmental law.

Cody... Non-Factual Arguments??? Seriously???? Fact - It's bad for air quality in a Village like the Falls... Fact - it's a business that is not "GOOD" for the falls.. (Which is why everyone is up in arms about the business)... It's not bringing jobs to the Falls... I know exactly what they do and have NO problem with what they do... I have a problem with it being brought to a community like the Falls. The other issue is the President of this company was indited for failing to follow the regulations to prevent poisioning the air quality and water quality... WHY is that GOOD business for the falls. Yes it was "in the past", Yes he said he was "following orders".. well guess what, he would have kept on doing so if he wasn't caught. What's to say he won't do that here.. I'm not willing to take that risk with my family and friends living in this area. THIS IS NOT A BUSINESS FOR MENOMONEE FALLS.... THIS IS A BUSINESS FOR OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENTAL AREA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care if it's zoned as heavy industrial, if the air was only going to be effected over the company than fine, but that isn't the case and it won't happen. The value of the falls will drop drastically and people WILL start looking else where to live and the falls will become nothing better than Milwaukee.. that's NOT why i moved to the falls.. Open your eyes and close your bank account. NOT GOOD FOR THE FALLS!!!!!
DT98 January 24, 2014 at 03:12 PM
Nope... Pretty sure they are facts.. you can research the company.. the opinions are the falls not needing this business...
DT98 January 24, 2014 at 03:17 PM
That has nothing to do with it.. As a professional that hires African Americans, i'm offended by a comment like that. The type of employees they hire has NOTHING to do with why I don't want this company in the Falls. Are you starting to miss the points like Cody now also????
DT98 January 24, 2014 at 03:23 PM
Again confused... Not getting in a pissing match regarding a topic you pulled out of thin air... back to the point of discussion..
DT98 January 24, 2014 at 03:26 PM
Of course, what kind of question is that? Back on topic and put the bottle down..

Again DT you have posted no facts saying this business will be a detriment to the community. Stink? You have no proof, the president explained why they had a few instances of smell in the past. I've said this before I guarantee you the farm you (or these neighbors) live next to stinks worse constantly in the summer. Past Regulation writeups? He was a manager back in the 90s for IIRC another company, not this one. You're trying to link apples to oranges here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I worked in the mining industry before my current business adventure. You could have had the best mine/quarry in the world and you still would get MSHA violations. It's what the government does, they find something and fine you, it justifies their existence. So you found 1 violation 20 years ago, OMG shut them down forever. A business in the lime light of government will get fined, I guarantee it. There is no proof they continued to do so or malice. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This entire group against Advanced Waste sounds like a bunch of blue fisting liberals. It's all emotion, biased on little fact and not listening ie understanding what the company is proposing to build, and have already shelled out the cash to do so. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How does a couple hundred current jobs, with plans on huge growth not a good thing? How does this not constitute as job growth? See this is the classic liberal thing to debate. We want jobs, but not THOSE JOBS, no those jobs are bad, wrong, not inline with my emotions, my opinions of acceptable jobs.

Don't build your house next to the airport then bitch about the noise.

If you want to decide what should go on this property, get the neighbors together and buy it. Problem solved.
