Obituary: William Schaab

Bill worked at Spancrete Industries for 45 years and retired as Vice President of Risk Management with the Spancrete Group Inc.

Schaab G. "Bill" Schaab was born to Eternal Life Sept. 28,2013 at the age of 78. He was a resident of Menomonee Falls. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Viola, his brother Norman and his infant daughter, Debra. Bill leaves behind his loving wife, Charlotte of 55 years of marriage, sons Richard (Julie), Gerald, William Jr., Thomas (Lisa) and John (Audrey). He will be deeply missed by his 4 grandchildren,Thomas and Lisa's children, Maria and Timothy as well as John and Audrey's children, Joseph and William. Bill is further survived by numerous lifelong friends and extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, N89W16297 Cleveland Ave., with Father Robert Gloudeman officiating. Private entombment St. Mary's Mausoleum. Visitation Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Mary's School is appreciated.

Bill worked at Spancrete Industries for 45 years and retired as Vice President of Risk Management with the Spancrete Group Inc. Bill was a leader within the concrete industry. He was President of the Wisconsin Concrete Masonry Association for several terms. He also served on the Board of Directors of the National Concrete Masonry Association and was chairman of numerous association committees.

Bill was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls. Bill taught CCD classes for young adults and confirmation classes. Bill enjoyed watching Wisconsin Football, playing golf and hunting with his sons and relatives.
