Obituary: Richard M. Harley

He loved life and especially spending time with friends and family, traveling, WWII history and his 4M "Band of Brothers" creating military miniature dioramas, auto racing, and Packer games.

June 19, 1951 - September 20, 2013

Richard M. "Rick" Harley was taken from this life way too soon, Rick is now enjoying the glory of heaven as our special angel. Sept. 20, 2013 at age 62

Beloved husband of Diane. Proud daddy of Kathy (Brian) Farvour. Adoring grandpa of Isabelle. Loving son of Delores Harley. Big brother of Denise and Bob (Jean). Respected son-in-law of Ray and Marian Etzel. Dear brother-in-law of Ruth Etzel, Janet (Steve) Kenny and Carol (John) Gerlach. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, especially his feline companion Mickey. Preceded in death by his dad, Clayton Harley, and his best friend, Scott Schleif.

Visitation from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, N89W16297 Cleveland Ave. 

Rick was employed by the Waukesha County Highway Department/DPW for 36 years. He loved life and especially spending time with friends and family, traveling, WWII history and his 4M "Band of Brothers" creating military miniature dioramas, auto racing, and Packer games.
