Obituary: Raymond 'Ray' Haas

Ray was a retired plasterer. Among his proud accomplishments was the work he did on several exhibits at the Milwaukee Public Museum, including the igloo, "Streets of Old Milwaukee," and the Mexican Marketplace.

Raymond "Ray" Haas 

December 28, 1921 - January 12, 2013

Raymond, “Ray” Haas of Menomonee Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of Mary Dale (nee Haskell) for 63 years. Dear father of Sharon Lee (the late Ed) Wiedenhoeft of Lannon, Wis. and Christina Rae Haase of Menomonee Falls, Wis. Proud grandfather of Ryan Wiedenhoeft, Marnie (Joseph) Ripple, Christina (William) White, Lauren Whitelaw, and Debra (Kyle) Krueger. Great-grandfather of 13. Special brother of Irene (the late Bill) Warning of Menomonee Falls, Wis. and Jake (Delores) Haas of Milwaukee, Wis. Also survived by other relatives and friends.  

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

Ray was a retired plasterer. Among his proud accomplishments was the work he did on several exhibits at the Milwaukee Public Museum, including the igloo, “Streets of Old Milwaukee,” and the Mexican Marketplace.  

Visitation for Ray will be held on from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m.
