Obituary: G. Robert Remiker Obituary

Robert was an Army Sergeant in WWII, an Executive Vice President of advertising at Boston Store, wall decor shop owner, and a member of Brookfield Congregational U.C.C.

September 21, 1921 - March 28, 2013 
Resided in Menomonee Falls, WI

March 28, 2013 age 91. Beloved husband for 66 years to Marjorie (nee Bratz). Dear father of Mary Jo (Michael) Stroh and the late Paul R. Remiker. Grandfather of the late Ann (Markus) Stroh-Klebermass, Matthew (Amy) Stroh, Katherine (Nathan) Hall, and Andrew (Jenny) Stroh. Also survived by eight great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. 

Bob was an Army Sergeant in WWII and was a field instructor. He taught trainees techniques in survival at various camps in the southwest. After the war, he graduated from the American Art Academy in Chicago. He worked at several advertising agencies before becoming Executive Vice President of advertising for 14 years at Boston Store in Milwaukee. Then Bob and Marjorie opened Van Wall, Ltd., a wall décor shop which they ran together until their retirement.

His three great passions in life were Marjorie, watercolors and golf. Bob was a member of Brookfield Congregational U.C.C.
